The last day of preseason testing Sepang II, Thursday (02/26/2015), specifically used for testing prototype Michelin tires that will be used MotoGP 2016 .. Some rider falls in these tests.

Jack Miller (CWM LCR Honda), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati), Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Movistar), and Aleix Espargaro (Suzuki) was among the fallen rider when drove the bike on the track.

Miller and Espargaro be a victim in turn five, while Lorenzo and Dovizioso both fall into a higher speed while crossing turn three, as preached MCN and Crash.

Fortunately the whole rider who had an incident was reportedly not injured, although Lorenzo bike looks pretty badly damaged by the seat section and the back of his bike was ripped off.

The riders were involved in the test itself, in particular that gets incident, not allowed to talk to the media due to the persistence of the binding contract with Bridgestone, tire providers at this time, until the end of the summer of 2015. There is also no official lap time on the test.

According to Michelin, fall incidents spurred a number of motorcycle rider while in the test this time due to the difference in the balance of traction between the front tires to the rear tire.

“What we are lacking now is a good balance front and rear. How the tyres work together. Front and rear balance is something you hear a lot about in car racing, but you also get it in bikes.

“Basically the two accidents at Turn 3 for example were because riders opened [the throttle] probably a bit early. Maybe they wanted to take the most out of the rear grip and the front couldn't cope with opening so early.

“Some other riders, that didn't crash, said quite quickly that they couldn't use all the potential from the rear on the exit of the corner because the front is not at the right level yet.”  clear Michelin Racing Technical Director Nicolas Goubert to Crash (02/26/2015).
